Tech 1 Racing selected for the GP3 Series!
21/09/2009 - Formula Renault 3.5 Series - Nürburgring
The Toulouse-based team Tech 1 Racing has been selected for the GP3 Series, a new single-seater formula, which will kick off in 2010. It is a stepping stone on the road to Formula1, and the GP3 Series will run the same weekends as the European F1 Grand Prix.
The GP3 Series received over forty entries, and the organisers have finally selected ten teams, among them Tech 1 Racing. «It’s a great honour for Tech 1 Racing to have been chosen » smiles Simon Abadie, the Tech 1 Racing Team Manager. « It proves that we’ve managed to make a name for ourselves in the world of single-seaters in just a few short years. It’s very important for us to be in at the start of GP3 in its first season. The level’s going to be extremely high and it’s a fantastic challenge for the whole team. It’s the next logical step for us to continue Tech 1 Racing’s growth. »

22/09/2009 - Eurocup Mégane Trophy - Nürburgring
After the 6-week summer break Tech 1 Racing was back in harness at the Nürburgring in Germany for the second-last round of the Eurocup Mégane Trophy. The Toulouse-based team did not let the opportunity slip and scored points.
The Nürburgring weekend saw the restart of the Eurocup Mégane Trophy. After the Le Mans round where the Tech 1 Racing drivers were hit by bad luck, the second last round of the 2009 season gave Nick Catsburg, Matthieu Cheruy and Antony Tardieu the opportunity to shine.
They were in the heat of the action straight away, and were on the pace from the green light. Nick Catsburg set the fourth-quickest time in the first collective test session on Friday. Matthieu Cheruy>>> En savoir +
